Overview

Setoshiki Co., Ltd. is a long-standing packaging manufacturer based in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. With over 70 years of experience, they specialize in producing corrugated cardboard boxes, offering a fully integrated production system from material selection to delivery.

Role

I was responsible for developing the entire corporate website for Setoshiki Co., Ltd. from scratch, based on the provided UI design. My key responsibilities included:

• Converted static design files into a custom WordPress theme with clean and maintainable code.

• Built multiple page templates including Home, Company Info, Product Overview, Recruit, Contact, and more.

• Ensured a fully responsive layout optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

• Integrated smooth scrolling, subtle animations, and user-friendly transitions to enhance the browsing experience.

• Implemented a custom backend structure using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to allow the client to easily update content without coding.

• Optimized performance and loading speed through image compression, lazy loading, and efficient code.

• Ensured SEO best practices including semantic HTML, meta tags, and proper heading hierarchy.

• Provided post-launch support and training so the internal team could manage the website independently.
